Kate Hogan | Cycling Instructor

Kate has been involved in sports and physical fitness her whole life. When she can’t be outside running, biking canoeing, or hiking, she enjoys the atmosphere and challenge of spinning, yoga and any variety of strength training classes. She received her aerobics and personal training certification from ACE in college and graduated from Northern Michigan University with a major in Heath Education. She was introduced to spinning in the mid 90’s and received her certification from Mad Dog Athletics. Kate loves spinning as she thinks it’s the best alternative to a real ride on the road or in the woods since it gives you all the tools to simulate a real ride. It’s also something that almost everyone can do. To Kate, fitness is about being able to do the things you want to do every day without limitations, whether it’s a mountain bike race or hike on the North Country trail.
